  1. Both my oldest brother and father work night shift. Although they are rather fond of working this shift, I often contemplate the repercussions it may have on their body. On a “good day” both my dad and brother are lucky to sleep five hours during the day. They then will take a one to two hour nap prior to going in for their shift. Even after examining my life, I rarely get six hours of sleep a night. As a full time student and employee my time is very limited. If an assignment is due the next day, my sleep will suffer. I am however, aware of the repercussions the lack of sleep has on the body and am working diligently in changing this.

  2. After reading this article I realized I really need to be more aware of the hours of sleep I get each night. The fact that I am a full time student and I am involved in many school activities sometimes is is hard to be in bed before 1am. I'm hoping once I am finished college and have a full time job I will be able to get into a healthly rutine of sleep each night. For now I just need to work on getting to sleep before 1am!!!
